Over the years, TRE has grown and changed as an organization. While we once only served people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we now serve a much broader group of people across the Front Range.
As TRE continues to evolve to serve the needs of people in our community, we are looking at how we present TRE to the people we serve and to the broader community. To help with that process, we are reaching out to employees, volunteers, people we serve, families, board members and community partners to gather input that will give us an important perspective.
As part of this process, TRE will be updating its mission statement. A mission statement explains why an organization exists. By providing your perspective, you will help TRE identify the right way to describe both what we have become after more than 50 years of serving the Front Range and to help us begin to define what we are striving to become in the future.
Using the link below, please provide us your thoughts. The survey will be open until Monday, March 9, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Once we have received responses to the survey, TRE will begin crafting an updated mission statement. We’ll take the words of those who have responded to the survey and develop several concepts that will begin to form TRE’s mission statement. Once we have those concepts structured, we’ll seek additional input and feedback. Our goal is to have a new mission statement later this summer.
