Welcome to The Resource Exchange!

Welcome to The Resource Exchange.  It is our honor and privilege to serve nearly 2800 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families, through a range of fully customizable service lines.  Our mission, to build independence for people with developmental disabilities, is simple, but elegant and profound.  It is our guidepost as we seek to innovate, to create contemporary services through social entrepreneurship and an unwavering commitment to the people we serve.  We are supported by 135 extraordinarily talented staff, by our strategic partners throughout our community, Colorado, the US and the world, and by our increasing corps of social impact investors.

We invite you to discover TRE through our website. Follow the links to learn our History, to meet our Board of Directors, and to familiarize yourself with our work.  Care to understand our funding?  You are but a click away.  Perhaps most of all, we hope you’ll reflect on TRE’s organizational values, our ‘DNA’ that informs every decision we take, every new service line we develop, every new relationship we make.

At TRE, we strive to be nimble, relevant, responsive, innovative, transformative and entrepreneurial. We offer an array of lifespan services available for children and adults with developmental disabilities—check out those services by clicking on the What We Do link.  We also welcome opportunities to answer questions, to educate our community on the profound assets—people with developmental disabilities—in our midst, and to create new partnerships throughout our State, our Country and indeed the world.  I hope you’ll feel free to call or e-mail us—you ou can reach me directly on 719.785.6403 or at dervin@tre.org.

Thank you for your support of and interest in The Resource Exchange and the extraordinary people we so proudly serve. And thank you for your visit—come back soon!

Sincerely,

David Ervin
