Community Training Session: On-Call and Incident Reporting; MANE Investigations and Allegation Protocols; Confidentiality and HIPAA

The following trainings are open to any and all who are interested in attending.

RSVPs must be made directly to Kayla Smith via email (ksmith@tre.org) or telephone (785-6416) with number of attendees and which training sessions they plan to attend. The deadline for RSVPs is one week before training you plan to attend. If capacity is reached prior to that deadline, we will let you know.

PLEASE NOTE: Cancellation notice is requested 48 hours prior to date of training.

On-Call and Incident Reporting

TRE after-hours on-call process and reportable incidents. TRE Incident Management process, requirements for submission of IRs, and IR writing tips. Trainees may choose to come prepared with information on a recent witnessed/learned incident for use in the application/Q&A portion of the training.

MANE Investigations and Allegation Protocols

Definitions of MANE and overview of investigations process. Review of Allegation protocol development process and appropriate conditions for use of Allegation protocols as a risk management strategy.

Confidentiality and HIPAA

Designed for staff working at any level with client information. Overview of legal obligations for safeguarding client information. Practical tips for compliance with obligations and respectful handling of sensitive information.
